M.U.T.C.H 2 MUCH
M2M SQUAD
M2M The Album
The south’s finest hip hop conglomerate: The Co-op, brings you a rare event in todays rap game… a banging ass rap group! Mr Matthews, Tom Dirt, King Nappa, A-Boogie, and Watson’s Grocery make up the infamous M2M squad. MUTCH2MUCH has been a group since the mid 90’s and while they have all had individual success since their debut, they decided to give the people a pleasant reminder of what’s possible when five supremely talented MCs with undeniable chemistry on the mic get together to make a truly classic rap opus.
The hard MUTCH Noyze and Down North production hits you in the face from the start of the album with the ruthlessly aggressive track “Gimme Me”. As you listen to the album you revel in the artistry, lyricism, and wordplay. You eagerly anticipate what crazy shit the next MC is gonna say, and before you catch all those lines, you’re inundated with another flurry of lyrical mastery. You move seamlessly through tracks like “Take a good look at me” and “All the Same” with steady head noddin before they break your neck off when Tom Dirt sets off “Da Bop” with a stupid flow that any lover of real rap will find refreshing. There are no skips going on here! When the album is over you’re mad there isn’t more but you know you’ve been taken on a hip hop journey like no other.
